Construction of pathways, hard landscaped features and planting scheme

The Peace Memorial Park at Huntingdon Road/Market Road, Thrapston is the principal park in the town and provides important amenity space for the town's residents.

The north of the park located along Huntingdon Road is currently under utilised and not very ambulant disabled/buggy friendly. The two entrances require work to create a more appealing frontage to the road and make them more accessible for all users of the park.

As part of the park's centenary celebrations this year the council wishes to provide a new pathway which links the two entrances together whilst providing points of interest along the way which can be enjoyed by park users of all ages.

Additional information: Quotations must be received by Thrapston Town Council no later than 12 noon Friday 15/05/2020.

It is the contractor's responsibility to ensure receipt by Thrapston Town Council. We suggest hand delivery or Recorded Delivery.

Once quotes have been received, they will be reviewed to ensure that they meet the published specification.

Failure to provide any of the information requested will result in your quotation being rejected.

The Town Council will select the preferred contractor and notify the preferred contractor by Friday 22/05/2020.

It is expected that the project will be completed by the end of Friday 28/08/2020.
