description

The project involves the creation of a new student support and administration building within the middle of the Leek College campus by the refurbishment and alteration of the existing Technical block.

There is a requirement to have the building works completed by no later than Monday 29th August 2016. The Contractor will be required to confirm that they are able to meet these dates as part of their tender submission, and to submit a detailed programme prior to commencing works.

At this stage it is envisaged that works will be completed within the fabric of the existing buildings and as such no planning application will be required. However, bidders must satisfy themselves of this and if they deem an application is required this will need to be reflected within the tender submission – both in terms of cost and programme.

Please refer to the attached Tender documents.

All queries: please direct them through the In-Tend portal and our Estates Team will provide responses.

The form of contract will be the JCT Design and Build Contract (DB2011).
