description
The Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) requires a 3 year call off contract, with a review and break point at the end of each year, with an experienced and high quality strategic communications agency, with experience in crisis communications. The contract is to provide senior-level strategic crisis communications advice and support around any potential significant reputational issues on an 'as needed basis' by ONR.
A key driver for this contract is to assist ONR in maintaining focus on its core purposes during a time of heightened scrutiny in order to continue to deliver efficient and effective regulation of the nuclear industry, holding it to account on behalf of the public.
In the event of ONR being faced with a major issue, which has the potential to significantly damage the organisation's reputation and require additional resources to respond, the contractor will be able to supply expert strategic crisis communication advice and support. They will be there to guide and assist the senior leadership team's response and help them to make timely, clear and effective strategic decisions based on insight and experience of crisis communications.
The contractor would be required to supply their expert strategic crisis communications services 24/7 on an 'as needed basis' by ONR. This will allow ONR to respond quickly and effectively during a major issue.
Additional information: Interested suppliers will be required to register their details on HSE's e-procurement portal in order to gain access to the documentation and to respond to the opportunity. Registration is free of charge, and can be accessed at the following link:
