description
In 2022, Sport England embarked on an organisational transformation journey to ensure that we can be the change we wish to see across the sector. The principles and values that underpin how Sport England wishes to operate are outlined in the How We'll Work section of Uniting the Movement. We have further expanded on the changes we seek to make in the medium term in our Implementation Plan, within the section called "Being the Change".
We recognise that we ultimately need a more user-centred & agile approach to how we operate if we are to meet the ambition and vision that is set out in Uniting the Movement. As a result of undertaking a maturity assessment, which was designed around the Digital Service Units Maturity Model, it was clear that there were areas of improvement that we should design our future operating model to address.
The appointed supplier will support our process of developing a different way of organising our work, which is not by the teams we're in, or the projects we run, but by the services we provide to our users.
The intention is to transform how our people and processes work together, changing the organisation's culture in the process.
Additional information:
The appointed supplier ranked #1 following a MEAT assessment.
