Broxtowe Borough Council requires one Contractor to "Supply personnel to perform the role of Park Attendants" (The Services) for the Council.
The contract term will be 3 years with an option of an annual extension for a further 3 years.
This is a key contract, as the end user (the public), expect to be provided with clean and safe park and sports facilities, that in some cases they have paid in advance for. Reliability of supply of personnel is essential in this contract and failure to provide this will lead to a breach of contract. Efficient and effective performance of the contract requirements is paramount and non-performance will be actively managed.
The Contractor will work effectively with the Council's other providers who provide services such CCTV operators, mobile security patrol team and other security personnel.
The Service to be provided by the Contractor shall include but not be limited to the supply of suitable Staff, vehicles (suitably livered in an agreed format) and equipment to complete the contract requirements throughout the Borough of Broxtowe
The roles comprise of:
Summer Attendants - The Summer Attendant period runs from the last Saturday in April to the last day of September.
The contractor is required to provide high profile fixed attendants (role 1) at four Council managed parks and recreation grounds (one at each park/recreation ground).
The contractor is required to provide a high profile mobile attendant (roles 2 and 3) and vehicle, to cover the parks and recreation grounds as detailed and to supervise as necessary, the fixed sites.
Football Attendant - The contractor is required to provide high profile football attendants (role 4) at up to eight Council run parks and recreation grounds. The football season runs from the third Saturday in August until the first Sunday in May.
Additional Summer Attendants - As and when required to cover cricket and bowls matches (Role 5).
It is expected that the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) 2006 regulations will apply.
Additional information: Contract option to extend annual for a further three years (contract length a maximum of six years).
