FGS005/2018 Vulnerable Adolescents Prevention and Intervention Service

Middlesbrough Council is seeking to commission a Vulnerable Adolescents Prevention and Intervention Service which will work with the Council and its partners to introduce creative, robust processes that will: a) Drive the early identification of 'Vulnerable Adolescents', that is, young people aged 10 to 17 who are at high risk of becoming involved in CSE, CSA, gang related crime or 'County Lines', either as a victim or a perpetrator, b) Coordinate Stay Safe operations c) Deliver early awareness interventions in small focussed groups d) Deliver intensive one-to-one interventions to individual vulnerable adolescents who are at a higher level of risk. In doing so, the Contractor will be expected to: e) Work to engage Vulnerable Adolescents through Trusted Relationships f) Establish and train a network of 'trusted adults' within the partnership workforce.
