description
NHS Shared Business Services, on behalf of NHS England, are looking to procure an evaluation partner organisation to undertake the development of a method that can be used to compare the use of medicines by the NHS in England with other countries. \
The aim of the procurement is to develop a method that objectively compares the uptake rates of medicines within the five high health gain (5HHG) categories identified by NHS England and NHS \
Improvement. The supplier will then use the method to create an uptake metric for each of the 5HHG categories that compares usage in England compared to other countries. The list of comparative countries will be confirmed by a steering group convened by NHS England and will include European countries with a similar income level.\ The output to this requirement will be a report and completion of the indicator for each of the five health gain categories.\
