description
North Tyneside Council (the 'Authority') is seeking tenders for the delivery of planned and responsive repairs and maintenance for operational, schools and commercial buildings. The Framework is for an initial period of 2 years with an option to extend for a further year (potential three year contract).
The works will be carried out anywhere within the Borough of North Tyneside and include planned and reactive services to repair and maintain Roller Shutters.
The Contractor(s) will work with the Authority to provide innovative solutions to reduce costs and streamline delivery/collection methods throughout the contract term.
Tenderers will be ranked with up to 3 contractors being awarded a place on the framework.
Responsive repair services will be provided by the first ranked Contractor using their submitted rates, if the first ranked Contractor cannot fulfil the requirements then the Authority shall contact the second ranked and then the third ranked where applicable. Following establishment of the responsive repairs framework the Authority shall carry out mini-competitions for the planned preventative maintenance element of the contract.
