MPS is seeking training ammunition to compliment the recently awarded Ops Ammo.
- x 19mm (operational ammo is 147 grain) (rough MPS usage estimate 1.7m - 2m per year)
| . | 115 - 148 grains TFMJ (low tox) non hollow point projectile in a brass case |
| . | Frangible type round also required for steel plate targets |
| . | Should a suitable lead free frangible type round be identified then it may be acceptable as a single general purpose training round |
- x 45mm (.223) (operational ammo is 62 grain) (rough MPS usage estimate 500k - 750k per year)
| . | 50 - 70 grains TFMJ (low tox) non hollow point projectile in a brass case |
| . | Frangible type round also required for steel plate targets |
| . | Should a suitable lead free frangible type round be identified then it may be acceptable as a single general purpose training round |
- x 35mm (300BLK) (operational ammo is 111 grain) (rough MPS usage estimate 180k- 200k per year)

This will be a National Framework available to all UK police forces.
