Cambridgeshire County Council (the ?Authority?) wishes to invite Tenders for the supply of services in respect of Mediation and Disagreement Resolution Services for Children and Young People from 0 - 25 years with Special Education Needs and Disabilities. The successful Potential Provider(s) will be responsible for providing this service and liaising closely with the Contract Manager identified by the Authority.
The Children and Families Act (2014) requires the Council to commission an independent Disagreement Resolution and Mediation Service for parents/carers and young people (over 16 years) with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) between the ages of 0-25 years. The aim is to promote early resolution of disagreements through non-judicial means.
