HCC - 09/20 - The Provision of Reprocessing Street Sweepings

The Waste Disposal Authority (WDA), Hertfordshire County Council, is responsible for arranging for the disposal of all waste collected by Hertfordshire Waste Collection Authorities (WCAs) under their duties and powers defined in the Environmental Protection Act 1990 together with waste collected at Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs). This responsibility includes the disposal of Street Sweeping Arisings (Approved Waste) and Hertfordshire County Council is seeking an alternative treatment process that enables diversion of Approved Waste away from the residual waste stream for the ten (10) WCAs separately collected material.

This procurement is an Open (one stage process). Suppliers wishing to take part in this project are invited to 'express interest' which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-tendering system.
