description

Quotation for a study and condition assessment leading to an updated conservation plan for the parts of the Pendennis Peninsula Fortifications, Falmouth which are in Local Authority care.

The majority of the headland is protected as a Scheduled Monument which has at its heart the English Heritage Trust castle. The majority of the SM surrounding the castle is currently owned by Cornwall Council but this is in the process of being devolved to Falmouth Town Council.

The last survey and condition assessment of the site was published in 2000. The Town Council now requires a point in time condition assessment and updated plan to understand past work, recent dilapidations, and help them in their future management of the site.
