Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum Conservatory Repair Works

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council (BCP Council) seek tenders to carry out the complete refurbishment of the conservatory to the listed building, including replacement of the glazing, timber repairs, structural repairs and redecorations.

Repairs to the glazed conservatory to consist of:

• Resetting of glazed leaking glazed panels to the roof

• Replacement of broken glazed panels

• Repair of timber and iron glazing bars

• Replacement of lead flat roofs

• Addition of roof access hatches and mansafe safety lines

• Repair of corroding iron beam below the conservatory floor

• Refurbishment of existing rainwater goods

• Redecoration of the conservatory

The project is to commence on 04 September 2023 and complete within four months.
