School Meals Service

St Francis CofE VA Primary School with approx 460 pupils and 45 staff is looking to secure a contract for the Provision of Catering Services from 01/09/2017 for 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years. The school is seeking a company that can deliver a variety of fresh, nutritious and appetising food within exciting and continually evolving menus; the requirement is for an attractive selection of dishes, dictated by personal taste as well as by dietary requirements and inspired by seasonal and topical events. Equally, the school is seeking contractor awareness and experience of using different types of food in a Primary School setting, how raw products are sourced and an overall approach to sustainability.

Meals must be prepared and cooked in the school's on site facility.

The school is seeking an organisation with personnel who will naturally want to become part of the whole school environment (not merely a 3rd party provider); people who will readily engage with the staff, the policies, the character and ethos of the school.

The school readily acknowledges that whilst we are experts in Primary education, we are not experts in the Provision of Catering Services - that's where you come in...
