Accelerating the Sustainable Control and Elimination of NTDs (ASCEND) is an investment from the UK Government's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) to advance the impact and sustainability of national programme's tackling neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). ASCEND in South Asia, East and Southern Africa is implemented by a consortium of technical partners led by Crown Agents.

Under the ASCEND programme, Crown Agents has awarded a subcontract to an Implementing Partner to support the National Program for Elimination of Lymphatic Filariasis and Kala-Azar in Nepal to increase awareness about LF and VL program interventions, increase service demand through media campaign and to ensure implementation of leave no one behind approach in LF and VL programme districts through:

LF MMDP School health education
Road Crying/miking/street drama to sensitize people on VL and LF
Media campaign for advocacy and awareness raising of NTD targeted communities through radios
Social audits to ensure ' Leave No One Behind'
