The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) (hereafter referred to as "the Customer") has sought to purchase Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) ("the Goods"). The Procurement was managed by the Authority utilising a mini-competition exercise governed by the terms of Lot 2 (X-Ray, Imaging, Elemental & Micro Analysis Equipment and Microscopy Instruments including Associated Equipment, Accessories, Consumables, Maintenance and Servicing of Equipment) of the NORTH WESTERN UNIVERSITIES PURCHASING CONSORTIUM Ltd's (NWUPC) High Value Laboratory Equipment Framework (LAB3162 NW). The Authority has undertaken a mini-competition via the NWUPC framework for which Hitachi were the highest scoring supplier using the MEAT criteria.

Additional information:

The Customer may extend the Contract for a period of up to twenty-four (24) months by giving not less than ten (10) Working Days' notice in writing to the Supplier prior to the Expiry Date.
