Reprocessing of plasterboard and gypsum materials from Household Waste Recycling Centres in Warwickshire

The Authority is tendering for the reprocessing of plasterboard and gypsum materials from Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) in Warwickshire. The provision of containers (currently 40 yard open skips) and haulage to the contractor’s processing facility or transfer point will be undertaken by the Authority or its appointed haulage contractor, Biffa.

The proposed Contract start date is: 01/11/2015.

The proposed Contract end date is: 31/10/2017.

The initial contract term will be 2 years, however the Authority reserves the right to extend the Contract by further periods not exceeding 12 months (12 months being the maximum available extension period) at the discretion of the Authority based on the contract performance of the successful applicant.

This Contract will be reviewed in January 2017.

The estimated total value of the Contract is £90,000.

CSW-Jets will not be used in this instance, due to preference by bidders in this market for paper tenders. All correspondence relating to the project (except for the submission itself) should be sent to: wastetenders@warwickshire.gov.uk.
