Westminster City Council (WCC) and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) are designing a new, innovative service to promote health and wellbeing amongst families within these boroughs for the provision of an Healthy Families, Healthy Communities Service.
It will be a flexible service with an intergenerational approach, supporting families and communities to live, learn and play in a healthy environment with a focus on physical activity and healthy eating. We aspire to promote health and wellbeing at all levels of the community.
Westminster City Council (WCC), as lead Authority, intends to undertake a competitive tendering procurement on behalf of itself, and Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) for the provision of an Healthy Families, Healthy Communities Service.
Prior to commencing any formal public procurement process, RBKC and WCC, wish to engage with interested providers to ensure the expertise of providers contributes to the service design principles; service core components; outcomes and KPI'S; and the procurement process. The two boroughs invite providers with experience of delivering this type of services to a supplier engagement event on Tuesday 27th November 2018. To register your interest, please contact lpinder@westminster.gov.uk by 17th November 2018 giving names of the delegates attending. Places will be limited to 2 persons per organisation.
This tendering exercise is being undertaken using the electronic tendering system 'capitalEsourcing' (url:www.capitalesourcing.com). Suppliers will need to register an interest on the system in order to participate, and registration is free.
