PRIOR INFORMATION NOTICE
Provision of Paediatric Critical Care Retrieval and Advice Services
Manx Care, a newly formed Statutory Board of the Isle of Man Government responsible for the operational delivery and commissioning of all health and social care for residents of the Isle of Man, wishes to explore the market, to identify interest from suitably experienced off-Island contractors to provide a paediatric critical care retrieval and advice service.
The contractor will provide a specialist retrieval team to transfer critically ill children from Nobles Hospital, predominantly to one of the two Paediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU's) within the North West region of the UK, namely Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and Alder Hey Children's Hospital (if these units are full, to the nearest unit with available beds).
The contractor will be required to provide clinical advice to medical and nursing staff at Nobles Hospital on the management of critically ill children before they need Paediatric Intensive Care. A referral line will provide a single point of contact for any medic needing to either transfer a child to a PICU or needing advice on the care of a critically ill child. Both the retrieval team and the advice referral line will be required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If possible, telemedicine facilities to be used The contractor will provide a specialist retrieval team for the transfer of infants and children below 16 years of age, including neonates...gation to issue invitations to responders to the Notice.

In order to progress to the next stage of the process you will need to 'Opt-In', complete the 'Form of Acknowledgment' questionnaire, upload your PIN Response document and click 'Submit Return' before the deadline as detailed below.
