Place Partnership Ltd the Contracting Authority are seeking to appoint an experienced and capable Service Provider for the provision of our Hard FM services.

Place Partnership provide Hard FM, Soft FM, Asset Management, Property consultancy advise and associated professional services for public sector clients.

The successful contractor will provide Hard FM services to our clients.

The contract will be for a period of 4 years with an extension to add 2 further years. However, before the commencement of the contract there will be an initial period of up to 12 weeks during which Place Partnership and the appointed Service Provider/s will work together to lay the foundations of their relationship before any actual specific work is provided.

The \"go-live\" date of the contract will be: 1st June 2019

The current Place Partnership supply chain base for providing Hard FM services to Place Partnership and its clients is extensive. Place Partnership are looking through this procurement exercise to amalgamate the Hard FM services to one single Service Provider as they see this as the best option for both themselves and the end client.

This enables the successful Service Provider to deliver cost and quality benefits, innovation, continuous improvement and allows immediate engagement for our Clients in delivering their services in an effective manner.

As a general overview the services under this contract are as follows:

These are maintenance and repair of assets within the following categories (but not limited to):

Mechanical and Electrical Building Fabric Maintenance HVAC

Lift Maintenance Legionella Testing Custodial Requirements Generators UPS

Security Systems Fire Alarm Systems Asbestos

Place Partnership will select a Hard FM service provider that will be flexible and be willing to work with them to continually achieve the client's expectations on quality, cost, timely delivery and deliver a programme of continuous improvement. To do this we will appoint a Single Service provider that:

Puts the health and safety of its employees, our clients and Place Partnership's staff and clients first Is pro-active and flexible in their approach

Engages and works collaboratively with Place Partnership

Engages with Place Partnership in a partnership approach at all levels

Drives a programme throughout the contract of continuous improvement

The proposed contract is NEC 4 Term Service Contract.

Place Partnership is following a two-stage, Restricted procurement process to appoint a Service Provider, in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Under the first stage of the process, prospective Service Providers are required to complete and submit a Selection Questionnaire and its associated appendices.
