Intensive Business Support

Luton Borough Council is looking to engage qualified organisations to quote for intensive business support services to be delivered to existing businesses operating in the geographical area of Luton, and to manage a grant application process.

As part of our response and our longer term plan to delivery an Inclusive Economy, we are using a proportion of our Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) funding to deliver a raft of business support activities to assist the business community in recovery, resilience, growth and ultimately prosperity.

This contract forms part of this overall response, and is intended to support high growth businesses and businesses who are looking to grow. The wider business support activities under a different contract include (amongst others) support for generic start-up businesses as well as BAME specific start-up support. The same service users should not access grants from more than one programme. Grant applicants under the intensive programme must declare if they have sought additional grants in the grant application process, and the contractor will refuse the application if this is the case.

This exercise is being conducted electronically, via the Luton Portal - https://procontract.due-north.com/Register (the Portal) which is free for Contractors to register on and to use.
