description

The Health and Life Sciences (HLS) Faculty of De Montfort University require the provision of a complete Clinical Skills Simulation Suite Solution for 3x labs in Heritage House, 2x exam rooms, 1x soft space room and 3x cubicles.

The wider project related to this procurement involves the acquiring and implementing of a Solution to meet requirements for healthcare training and provide functionality to support assessment including academic feedback. The Solution will integrate with the current physical and technical environment supplying AV capture and playback as students undertake clinical skills practice.

The Delivery of the complete single Solution shall involve a mix of AV and associated hardware and also a learning management software system and storage with the potential to be cloud hosted. Tenderers should understand and be aware that the University is looking for the delivery of a single complete integrated Solution; and one which is led from the perspective of looking to deliver the full extent of benefits and scope outlined within this ITT that can be obtained from primarily an innovative clinical skills learning software approach and not one which is primarily restricted by any AV limitations. No separate Lots shall apply to this procurement or any subsequent Contract awarded as a result of this procurement being undertaken.

It is anticipated a contract will be awarded for mid-September 2020 and any installation must be completed in time for start of the 2020/21 academic year semester 2, ie be operational ready for 1 January 2021.
