HV/LV - Main Intake Replacement

Keele University are seeking quotations to undertake the upgrade of their HV network with new high voltage cable routes being created across the site. Duties will include the excavation of various trenches to install new cable ducts and cabling, formation of inspection pits & manholes along the new routes, shutdowns of various items of HV switchgear supplying the site to terminate new HV cabling. The works are to be completed As part of the pre-contract process the University shall agree a timetable with the successful Tenderer to undertake the works. It is expected that the work shall be delivered 2015-16 throughout term time where possible however any disruptions will be planned during vacation periods including Christmas , Easter and Summer semesters.

The University requires that suppliers submitting Tenders are registered on Constructionline within a relevant work category and hold a SSIP accredited Heath & Safety Certificate; further details are included in the Tender documents.
