1956 The provision of Heritage House Uninterruptable Power Supply System Replacement, De Montfort University, Leicester.

De Montfort University (DMU) seeks to engage a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to carry out the following works:

• Undertake the detailed design of the Replacement of the existing UPS System
• Supply detail design drawings for approval
• Replacement of the existing UPS system
• Stripping out of all of the existing UPS System (excluding the interconnecting wiring)
• Carry out all site surveys.
• Supply, install, wire, and test and commission the new UPS system installations defined in the following Sections: -
• The supply, installation, fitting, wiring, connecting, balance, testing, commissioning and setting to work the UPS System as defined in the Specification, other contract documents and as determined from site visits, correspondence and meetings.
• All working drawings.
• As fitted drawings.

The Electrical contractor shall be responsible for the production of design and co-ordinated working drawings and for submitting these to the Building Services Engineer to review & comment, prior to commencing installation. The approval period is 2 weeks from date of receipt and this should be allowed for in the submission programme.

The Electrical Contractor shall be the primary instigator of the co-ordination drawings, and shall price accordingly in the Tender Summary that forms part of this specification.

The intended key project dates are as follows:-

Start on Site - April 2023

Practical Completion - 23rd June 2023 (TBC)

Duration - 12 Weeks
