description
This agreement relates to the provision of resettlement support and community integration services to families accepted under the Syrian Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Programme or similar schemes. The Council is seeking a community based provider to assist in the provision of support and particularly community integration. The Service will therefore need to have or develop excellent knowledge of and relationships with local communities.The Service will support families to adjust to life in Dudley and promote their independence, working at all times in a whole family way. Families will need intensive support initially, reducing gradually over a period of one to five years as they become able to use universal and non specialist services and increase their independence. Learning the English language will be key, and the Service will be required to provide suitable conversation classes in the home in support of classroom tuition
