North Northamptonshire Council Early Parenting Support and Child-Parent Relationship Support Services Pilot - Provider Event

North Northampton council (NNC) would like to invite prospective providers to participate in a market engagement event in preparation for a future procurement opportunity, subject to governance approval, to secure a two-year 'test and learn' project.

The project will be commissioned as three separate lots and provide early parenting and child-parent relationship support for mothers, fathers, and co-parents with children under two years old through evidence-based parenting programmes, antenatal classes, targeted parent-infant interventions and peer support.

The project will be delivered across several wards in North Northants, and decisions on which neighbourhoods will be agreed upon through ongoing locality coproduction.

This project aims to improve outcomes for all families with children two years old and under, supporting parents, carers, and families to access universal support for birth and beyond to feel more confident in their transition to new parenthood and the ability to care for their children.

To test the market appetite and interest in the proposed procurement opportunity, we will hold a Market Engagement event held virtually on Microsoft Teams on Thursday 26th January 2023 from 12.00pm - 13.30pm, including a project proposal discussion.
