NICE Evidence Management

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is the national organisation that sets the standard for high quality health and social care. We support health and social care professionals to ensure that the care they provide is of the highest quality and offers the best value for money. We produce authoritative, evidence-based guidance on the most effective ways to diagnose, treat and prevent disease and ill health, and we set Quality Standards which can be used to drive quality improvement in a particular area of care.

NICE will shortly be commencing a project or series of projects to deliver a solution that will facilitate effective reference management, screening and document supply for users working in and for NICE which will underpin the production of evidence-based guidance.

Current indications are there will be up to 150 users of the solution and an estimated budget of up to £150,000 over three years for this workstream.

NICE wishes to gain market understanding on the availability of potential solutions that support these objectives and to that end NICE is hosting a workshop where suitably informed organisation can contribute to and advise on the content of the requirement and specification for the tender.
