Portsmouth City Council 'the Council' is inviting quotes from suitably qualified professional practices to provide specialist military vehicle conservation services for the Transforming the D-Day Museum Project.

The collection consists of the following vehicles:

? BARV (Beach Armoured Recovery Vehicle) 1990/1403 ? Sherman Tank 1990/1400

? Churchill Crocodile Tank 1990/1405 ? DUKW Amphibious Vehicle 1990/1402 ? 25 pounder field gun 2003/2517

A specialist vehicle or military vehicle conservator with an appropriate conservation qualification is required to undertake the removal, transport, conservation and storage of all or some of the vehicles on display at the D-Day Museum.
