WDC - THE MAINTENANCE AND REACTIVE REPAIRS TO RURAL FOOTWAY LIGHTING COLUMS AND LANTERNS

Tenders are invited for the supply of maintenance and reactive repairs to rural footway lighting columns and lanterns.

This contract is to provide maintenance to lanterns and lighting columns at Warwick District Council's rural footway and garage sites. The new contract is to include WDC car parks and other amenities lighting columns which were previously not offered as part of the existing contract.

There is a strong desire to upgrade all lighting to LED luminaries as part of the Council's Climate Emergency and decarbonisation agenda by 2025. However, this requires further consideration and Council approval, therefore not included in this contract. Once approval is granted a further procurement exercise will be undertaken for this work. However, the maintenance and reactive repairs to future upgraded LED luminaries will be required within the term of this contract.

Highway Footway lighting is owned and maintained by Warwickshire County Council and is not included within this contract.

The contract will be for a period of Two [2] years with a 2 year extension option in 1 year increments (1+1), commencing April 2021 The Contract Value is approximately £35,000 [per 12 month period]
