Lead the development and implementation of innovative communication strategies that support and enable programme objectives.
Provide a robust and deliverable communication service to workstream leads and programme colleagues.
Promote and encourage the early integration of strategic communication and policy development.
Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, advocates and partners, to gather intelligence and build situational awareness.
Ensure consistency of voice, tone and message across all channels.
Examine ministerial and programme priorities and manage the response to high volume commissions on behalf of the programme.
Lead on the use of digital and social media to engage and increase engagement and encourage community participation.
Review communication strategies to ensure integration across communication channels, identify any gaps and work with and through strategic communications and press office colleagues in delivery.
Evaluate the effectiveness of communication against objectives. Review lessons learned and compare with industry best practice to identify areas for improvement for future communication strategies Provide management, direction and guidance to team. Ensure that individual and organisational learning and talent development opportunities are fully exploited in order to enhance organisational capability.
