description
Working alongside Ofgem, to produce a proposal to run
the graduate recruitment programme for 2017 graduate intake. Following the delivery of our campaign in 2015, we are now developing a further proposal to run a new intake of Graduates. The proposal includes the following information:
- Advertising and attraction strategy using
innovative methods of advertising to attract the right candidates, with the right skills for work in the UK Water Regulation sector
- Proposals on recruitment video's and how they may be used to attract candidates and inform them of the graduate programme content
- Sifting processes - in house and at Ofwat (including digital sifting)
- Assessment processes, design delivery and scheduling
- Online assessments and use of job matching profiling
- Timetable for the campaign
The requirement
It is anticipated that the campaign this year may need to fill up to 6 graduate
vacancies. The assessment process is likely to assess 12 candidates over 1 full day of
assessment. It is also suggested that a second day of assessment may be needed
after the campaign to pick up near miss candidates to fill other roles from the Ofwat
workforce plan, though this is still to be decided.
A 'near-miss' lighter assessment day is proposed but can be taken out if it is decided that this additional assessment day is not needed.
