The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) is replacing operational vehicles used across HM Coastguard (HMCG) to support maritime and coastal operations. This initiative aligns with the UK Government's Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV) strategy and the HM Coastguard Business Plan's vehicle greening objectives. The procurement of these vehicles continues our commitment to meeting these environmental and operational requirements.

The new fleet will include all-wheel drive hybrid vehicles, replacing existing diesel-powered assets. These vehicles are designed to operate reliably across diverse terrains and in all weather conditions, ensuring operational effectiveness while significantly reducing carbon emissions.

This requirement is a call-off from is issued under the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Framework agreement RM6244 Lot 4 - Bluelight Cars and Motorcycles (Emergency Services).
