Re-Provision of Step Down Services in LB Merton

South West London and St George’s NHS Mental Health Trust (SWLSTG) are holding a market engagement event for a new step down mental health service provision in the LB Merton.

This event aims to provide potential providers with an opportunity to gain understanding of what the Trust is looking for and organizations with the capacity and capability to deliver a safe, cost effective rehabilitative step down mental health service with drop-in/in-reach service in Merton are therefore encouraged to attend.

Additional information: This is a new commissioning activity for SWLSTG, who wish to co-commission a new model of service delivery that best meets the needs of the population across Merton. The purpose of the service is to meet the mental healthcare needs of its residents by providing an inreach support service as well as supporting those out in the community via a drop in facility to the residential rehab service. Please note that potential providers will need to incorporate a building facility as part of their provision, which is also DDA compliant.

The Market Engagement Event will provide the opportunity to share the current vision and commissioning intentions for SWLSTG and gather views and comments from a range of providers and interested parties and stimulate interest from the market.
