description
The City of Wolverhampton Council (The Council) is reviewing its travel assistance arrangements for children and adults.
Contractors will be required to undertake two phases of work;
Examine the provision available to children with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities
and
Adults with Learning Difficulties, Physical Difficulties and older people within the city.
There are obvious synergies between the services and it is widely acknowledged that increased independence through effective action through independent travel training at an early stage can lead to a decrease in the number of service users requiring transport in future years. Therefore it will be a requirement of the Contractor to thoroughly examine the current situation in a holistic manner.
