14. Formwork & Reinforced Concrete - Balfour Beatty - Southsea Coastal Scheme

Balfour Beatty is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers to bid for this project.

Supply, installation & removal of formwork.

Fixing of reinforcement including supplying tie wire, spacers & temporary end of bar safety protection.

Cleanliness and dewatering of work areas, shutters, part-fixed rebar etc.

Placing & vibrating insitu concrete (including provision of concrete pumping / skips as needed and marshalling of delivery vehicles).

Protection and curing of concrete and applying of any post-placing finishes and products.

Concrete testing & results.

Joints including material & dowels.

Includes leaner mix protection beds, retaining wall construction, promenade, sheet pile capping beams & jointing.

Estimated range for the total of all the frontages/sections: £9,000,000 - £9,500,000.
