Temporary Accommodation Dynamic Purchasing System

The London Borough of Hackney?s Benefits and Housing Needs Service is seeking qualified suppliers to join a formal Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), to provide temporary accommodation for homeless households. Suppliers will work closely with the Benefits and Housing Needs service to provide suitable accommodation for households assessed as homeless subject to the conclusion of the Council?s enquiries.

Additional information: The Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) will operate for a 4 year period with regular reviews to ensure it is meeting the needs of the service. As detailed in the tender documents, the Council is establishing the DPS through a restricted tender process following the publication of the OJEU notice in April 2016. A deadline has been set for the return of tenders for the initial set up of the DPS to allow the initial appointment of suppliers to various Lots to be agreed by the Council?s Cabinet Procurement Committee. Thereafter, the DPS will be reopened and will remain available for suppliers to join throughout its duration.

The actual electronic procurement system that is deployed for operating the DPS is called ProContract. Suppliers should register as a supplier on the system via the London Tenders Portal www.londontenders.org and access the DPS documentation under reference DN124883. The tender will also be advertised via the Hackney Council website.

The Council is seeking properties primarily in Hackney, and neighbouring boroughs. We will also consider accommodation within the area encompassed by the M25 motorway, and properties outside London if necessary.
