description
The University of Warwick, Warwick Manufacturing Group, has a requirement for a bespoke material heating and automated transfer system for fitment to an existing multi-functional Engel v-Duo 1700 process. The system will be capable of accurately pre-heating and rapidly transferring a range of structural composite material types into matched tooling within an industrial press for process studies. Materials under consideration include SMCs, thermoset pre-pregs and thermoplastic pre-pregs and textiles.
