Purchase of Blood Analysers

The agency is looking to purchase a Blood Analyser for use in the agency's Virology Department to assist with the batch release testing of plasma pools. HCV individual Test based upon 3,800 tests a year = 19,000 tests over 5 years HBV HCV and HIV collective (Triplex assay) Test, based upon 300 tests a year = 1,500 tests over 5 years B19/HAV collective (Duplex assay) Test, based upon 2,500 tests a year = 12,500 tests over 5 years B19 Individual Test, based upon 50 tests a year = 250 tests over 5 years HEV individual Test, based upon 100 tests a year = 500 tests over 5 years West nile Virus test, based upon 100 tests a year = 500 tests over 5 years

Additional information: Register your company on the e-Sourcing portal (this is only required once):

1. - Go to www.phe.bravosolution.co.uk. (Please note the MHRA uses the PHE portal).
2. - Click the link to register.
3. - Accept the terms and conditions and click ‘continue'.
4. - Enter your correct business and user details.
5. - Note the username you chose and click ‘Save' when complete.
6. - You will shortly receive an email with your unique password (please keep this secure).
7. - Email purchasing@nibsc.org to confirm you have registered.
8. - We will then be able to add you to our mailing list to automatically inform you when the tender is published. 9 - Please note the tender has yet to be published so you will not see it on the portal, the above requirements are to ensure you are on our distribution list and you will receive notification as soon as the requirement is published.
