description

  • Map out current state of development and sophistication of China’s existing capital markets. This would include (but is not limited to) China’s equity, fixed income, foreign exchange, money, futures and commodity markets. Assess the scale, sophistication, business centres, and current states of openness in these different markets, as well as priority areas for further development
  • Identify latest developments on the connectivity of China’s capital markets with external markets. What are these connections? What external markets they connect with? How do these connections work? How competitive different related external markets are in terms of their connectivity with Chinese capital markets?
  • Implications for the UK from policy/regulation/business perspectives. Which parts of Chinese capital markets are best for the UK to engage with and how?
