Wandsworth Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced and competent contractors for the provision of legal services.

The contract is divided into two (2) lots as follows:

Lot 1 - Litigation related services

Lot 2 - Planning, Highways, Contracts and General (PHCG)

The term of the proposed contract is five years (sixty months) to commence in April 2016, with option to extend for a further period or periods of up to three years (thirty-six months) subject to mutual agreement of both parties.

The estimated range in value of the contract over the initial term of five years and potential extension period of three years is GBP 6 800 000.

Additional information: On 23rd February 2015, the Executive approved arrangements for developing proposals to establish shared staffing arrangements with the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames ("Richmond") (Paper No 15-100). Richmond is currently a member of the South London Legal Partnership (a shared legal service between four councils – Kingston, Richmond, Sutton and Merton (host)). In light of the shared staffing arrangement, it is anticipated that Richmond may form party to this contract.

To express an interest in the opportunity, applicants must submit a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) which is available at www.delta-esourcing.com.

Details of the selection criteria for inclusion within the tender list are provided within the PQQ.

Applicants are advised that references will be obtained in writing from three referees. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that their referees respond within the time scale.

It is intended to restrict the tender list to a maximum of six (6) Applicants. If more than six (6) Applicants fulfil the criteria for selection, those scoring the highest number of points on the selection criteria will be invited to tender.

The award of the contract will be based on the most economically advantageous compliant tender.
