Torpoint Playground Re-Development Project

Torpoint Town Council (The Employer) is seeking a suitably qualified company to design and install new Playground Equipment and Safety Surfacing for 3 sites. This will be considered a single project preferably using one contractor to fulfil the specifications for all locations, based on the scoring criteria outlined in this document.

The tender relates to the following sites:

➢ The council has set aside a maximum budget of £80,000.00 (Ex VAT) which is summarised in the table below. Submissions may utilise the full allocated budget for each Site, however, not exceed it unless deemed necessary to fulfil the minimum brief. ➢ If however, following the receipt of tenders and a preferred contractor is awarded the project and changes are made to the final budget as variations or revisions, these will fall within the permissible range. (Reg 72 Public Procurement Regulations 2015) ➢ All pricing should be exclusive of VAT and in GBP (£).

➢ Pricing to be valid for 90 days from the due date of the response.

➢ Prices will be fixed and firm for the duration of the contract.

➢ Depending on the submissions, the council may decide to re-allocate portions of the total budget between the 3 Sites.
