GB-Leeds: HCON00424 ODS Care Home Data

The ODS publishes administrative data on organisations and people (healthcare professionals) of interest to the NHS.

The data:

•Identify organisations that exchange information within the NHS or return information to the Centre, e.g. GP Practices, NHS Trusts, CCGs, etc.

•Identify key personnel to whom this information relates, e.g. GPs, Hospital Consultants, etc.

The data are made available to users through a set of standardised data files, distributed via an online service called TRUD (Technology Reference data Update Distribution service) and a series of web pages administered by the ODS. The data are also published to the Care Identity Service, which is a centralised directory that holds organisation and person data and supports national systems and services.
