The value below is a framework or dynamic market ceiling: the maximum that could be spent across all call-offs, not the value of a single contract. Aggregate figures on this site exclude these to avoid double counting.

description

Emergency works are essential for the public safety and form part of the Councils statutory duties. They are required as a result of a serious incident and consequently the Council will only be able to consider those bidders who can have resources available at one hours notice. Consequently bidders must have resources available in close proximity to the Bradford District.

The Contractor shall provide all plant, tools etc. unless instructed otherwise by the Council.

Bidders should note that because of the varied types of incidents the Council cannot specify the precise nature of the works or resources that may be required. Requirements will be subject to the type of incident and works required to make the area safe. This may entail working under the control of the emergency services as well as with the Council.
