The Tweenaways Cross to Waterleat Road scheme is part of a series of improvements along Torbay?s ring road (A380/A3022), known as the ?Western Corridor?.

Brief Description of Works

The project aims to improve capacity and promote future growth in the area west of Paignton. These can be summarised as including:

1)Introducing a ghost island right turn facility on Kings Ash Road, at the junction with Waterleat Road.
2)Extending, the length of the second northbound lane on the Kings Ash Road departure from Tweenaways Cross.
3)Extending the length of the second southbound lane on the Kings Ash Road approach to Tweenaways Cross.
4)Removing the existing Toucan Crossing on Kings Ash Road and replacing it with a staggered one.
