Fire Doors Supply and Installation

WDH is seeking suppliers to carry out the supply & fit of fire door sets as outlined in appendix 5 to approximately 708 properties.

WDH requires the supply and installation of approximately 708 fire doors, with a range of glazed, door set with side light and door set with fan light as supplied through Solidcor. The contract period will let for 7 months with the volume of Fire Doors both supplied and installed as shown below;

Completed by 30th June 2024 - 108 Properties Completed by 31st July 2024 - 100 Properties Completed by 31st August 2024 - 100 Properties Completed by 30th September 2024 - 100 Properties.

Completed by 31st October 2024 - 100 Properties Completed by 30th November 2024 - 100 Properties Completed by 31st December 2024 - 100 Properties.

For this purchasing requirement, WDH requires at least two contractors to undertake the Supply and Installation of Fire Doors and any associated side or fan light, across the Wakefield District and surrounding areas. It is envisaged that if a contractor ranks either 1st or 2nd based on the Evaluation and Award Criteria, they will be selected and awarded the Fire Door Supply and Installation Contract.

The work will be split on a 50:50 basis for suppliers Rank 1 and Rank 2 in line with the Evaluation and Award process and performance by achieving relevant KPI's. If performance is not maintained and KPI's are not met, then WDH reserves the right to reduce the percentage split until performance is achieved.

WDH reserves the right to itself to decide which Contractor(s) will be nominated to provide the necessary services across particular geographical regions, subject to WDH requirements and the Evaluation and Award process. WDH cannot guarantee any value of work's for this tender.
