description
The repair of commercial and domestic laundry equipment that is installed within approximately 50 properties belonging to the London Borough of Hillingdon and located within the geographical area of the Borough. On average two such repairs, often of a minor nature, are required each and every week.
The contract will include provision for the repair of other white goods installed within these properties such as fridges, fridge freezers, cookers, ovens, dishwashers and microwave ovens. On average one such repair is required each and every month.
The successful organisation will be also be invited to supply and install new replacement appliances where the existing equipment is considered to be beyond economical repair though the Council reserves the right at all times to seek alternative prices from other suppliers.
Additional information: The Council will award its contract, if any, based upon the 'most economically advantageous tender' and will evaluate the tenders it receives on a basis of 80% Price and 20% Quality.
The Council will only consider tenders that have been submitted via the capitalesourcing portal and by the closing deadline.
