description
North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group (NELCCG) hereby invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced providers (including e.g. general practitioners, social enterprise / third sector organisations and other providers ) to provide a GP Out of Hours service incorporating Primary Care GP Presence in A&E in North East Lincolnshire for a 2 [two] year period.
The aim of the service will be to deliver an accessible, high quality, cost effective service that will provide evidence based urgent care, optimising the health and well-being of the patient to reduce the impact of ill health during the out of hours period. The service will reduce demand on the Emergency Care Centre and free up capacity, whilst also improving patient flow through the Emergency Care Centre.
Innovation and efficiencies in service provision for improved patient access and delivery of outcomes will be sought from prospective providers of the service, as will enhanced partnership working to support NELCCG and other professionals/partner organisations with the continued development of the NEL Single Point of Access and associated Clinical Advice Service.
Prospective providers will be expected to deliver the current model whilst participating with other providers to develop NELCCG’s vision for a primary care UCC. Further details of the services required can be found in Annex A of the MOI.
TUPE is likely to apply to the transfer of staff undertaking the current service provision.
To request a tender pack, interested parties should email NELCCG.NELPCProcurement@nhs.net.
Completed submissions must be received by 12 noon on Wednesday 6th January 2016.
