Refurbishment of Spa Facilities at Littledown Leisure Centre

Bournemouth Borough Council is seeking tenders from suitably experienced contractors for the refurbishment of the spa facilities at Littledown Leisure Centre Bournemouth.

Littledown Centre is owned by Bournemouth Borough Council and operated by BH Live. BH Live is a leisure and cultural trust, established in 2010 as a ?non-profit distributing organisation? (NPDO) for public benefit to promote participation in the leisure, arts, culture and heritage. BH Live is both a company Limited by Guarantee and a Registered Charity.

The successful supplier will be required to design the refurbishment in accordance with the requirements outlined in the specification. It is required that the supplier completed the design and installation and hand over to the Council by 01/09/2016.

It has been agreed to remove the 2 No. existing spa baths and not replace them and to refurbish the other facilities as described in the specification. The aspiration is to provide a first class spa facility in this increasingly popular leisure centre.

The spa facility at Littledown Leisure Centre has a footfall each year of approximately 65,000. Suppliers will need to ensure that the equipment that they supply is fit for purpose.
