There is a fixed budget of a maximum of ?138,000 INCLUDING VAT for production of a package of surveys and reports to decarbonise and improve the energy efficiency of The Engine House, Swindon.

This package should be consistent with Salix Phase 4 Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme requirements including:

  • oFull building services condition survey following NHS methodology
  • oEnergy Efficiency Study
  • oOptions Appraisal for fabric and building services
  • oCosted Feasibility Study for fabric and building services including consideration of climate resilience in current state and for proposed measures
  • oRIBA Stage 2 report
  • oProgramme of works

To aid the consultant the following documents are supplied as appendices to this Invitation to Tender:

  • A.The Engine House 2019 Window Survey including General Arrangement plans and elevations of the building
  • B.The Engine House Area Measurement Reports
  • C.The Engine House Asset register

The following documents and files are available if required and will be provided upon appointment:

  • oAerial drone survey footage (please note that direct access to the roof is not available)
  • oOperation and Maintenance Manuals for the Building Services
  • oBuilding Physics Overheating model developed in IES VE and report
  • oEnergy Demand Information/Historic Energy Consumption for 2 years
  • oTwo years of occupancy data
  • oBMS data
  • oGovernment Property Agency Net Zero Programme due diligence report
  • oLow Carbon Heating options and thermal modelling report
  • o2011 Condition Survey
  • oSpace numbering
  • oAsset numbering
  • oRoom numbering
  • oAs-built drone photos from 2020 major slate roof repair project
