description
Chesterfield Venues consists of 4 venues; the Winding Wheel, Pomegranate Theatre, The Assembly rooms and Hasland Village Hall. The catering contact will be mainly, but not exclusively, for events delivered at the Winding Wheel.
One of our key offers is that we are flexible in our catering option and private hirers can, if they wish, use their own caterers.
However, there are still a number of private hire customers who wish us to provide catering and this is when we will use external caterers.
It should be noted that the incoming business is variable and unpredictable and as such no guarantees can be given for the amount of orders we place with you.
We have full kitchen facilities for each of our 3 rooms (details attached), 2 documents entitled Auditorium and Ballroom kitchen equipment instructions, respectively. There is a specified loading/unloading area and service lift access to the second floor.
We will be happy to arrange a site visit for you to view the facilities.
The Caterer will provide all cutlery, napkins, table cloths, crockery, cooking utensils, and disposable items such as plates and utensils. The Venue can provide glassware. The Venue will not accept responsibility for the loss of items or damage to items by customers.
You should state in your tender whether staffing charges are included or additional. You should also indicate if there is a delivery charge.
The tender should state the method of transportation of food from the preparation site to the Venue.
You should specify the method of food preparation, whether this is on site at the Venue or at your own site.
